Another one of our amazing customers has agreed to let us showcase their kitchen in this before-and-after post. The projects we help our customers complete turn out incredibly gorgeous and space-changing that we get really excited to share on our website.

We also share more of the after pictures on our Houzz profile as well.

About the Project

Countertops: Venetian Ice Granite
Sink: Blanco Granite Composite Undermount Super Single Sink
Backsplash: Groutless Split-Face Travertine Tile

We installed Venetian Ice granite as the countertops. We also installed a Blanco granite composite undermount Super single sink. We cut down the old upper-bar top to make the peninsula countertop all one level.

The customer completed the tear-out of the old laminate countertops, repainted/refinished the cabinets, added new hardware and faucet, and installed new corbels.

MWM&G was able to purchase the backsplash tile for the customer and they decided to install the tile. The tile is a groutless split-face travertine tile with a mesh backing (so it comes in about a 12″x12″ square).

The customer has white appliances (some existing and some new), which (beyond popular thought) are a great choice for this kitchen. If stainless steel and/or black appliances were in this space instead, they may contrast the look of the kitchen rather than compliment it.

The backsplash tile, granite color choice, and cabinet colors really compliment the open feel of the kitchen as well. Even though the kitchen staples are light, there are splashes of dark in the accents (i.e. stools, decor, sink, faucet, hardware, coffee machine, outlet covers) that really pull the whole kitchen together.
