The Storm has Officially Rolled In
Not only is it Nick’s birthday month but apparently it is storm season again. The weather in the Midwest is incredible. Sometimes, it’s incredibly unpredictable. Yesterday evening was eventful here at Midwest Marble and Granite. Thank goodness no one was here and no one was hurt. I’m sure you are wondering what I am talking about…the storm has officially rolled in. We were confident in thinking that our A-frames were durable and able to withstand any sort of weather condition. The strong winds, pelting rain, and stormy climate practically destroyed one of our A-frames that was housing some remnant pieces as well as a bundle of slabs. The slabs are doing well and are now resting on new A-frames inside the shop. The pictures below are when we arrived this morning (with the big slabs still on top) and after the slabs were transported to a new resting spot.
Please Excuse the Mess
Unfortunately, the other side of the A-frame (as well as the A-frame next to it) will need some clean up work done. We are going to be completing some re-configuring in the next few days. We apologize for the mess ahead of time and there will be a lot of moving parts in the parking lot in the next few days as well.
Upside
We still have many, many, many remnants to choose from for vanities, small kitchens, table tops, shower seats, bookshelves, etc. If you are interested in any remnant material for a current project that needs a surface, please contact us at 913-486-2247 and/or email us at midwestgranite@hotmail.com.
