Are you thinking about a remodel but you’re not ready to pull the trigger or the bank account is not ready to pull the trigger? We have some resources to help for when you are ready to take the first step.
Based on recent experience within the last year, we have become very acquainted with a website called Houzz. At the beginning of the year, we attended a meeting held at one of our suppliers (Cosentino) to introduce the Kansas City contractors to this wonderful website. Houzz started from a man and wife who bought a house and had the hardest time making choices for their new home. They also had a terrible time finding resources that would help them make choices. I.e. Houzz was born. A lot of our customers in the past year have utilized this website to help them get ideas on what sort of countertop they want to put in the house, what colors they like, what theme they want to go with, etc. Not only can you get design ideas but you can also purchase affordable items from the pictures on Houzz (look for the little green tag).
Another great resource to use for your kitchen remodel is the kitchen visualizer on our website. There are four pictures of kitchens, so you will just want to pick the one that is closest to your kitchen layout. While you play with the visualizer, you can change the tile (backsplash and floor), cabinet color, and countertop. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for the visualizer to load. If you get tired of waiting, you can use the same visualizer at one of our other supplier’s website (MSI).
If you would like more design ideas, feel free to contact us. Nick (the owner) is a designer without the title.
